This up and coming new star is a multi-talented NTU School of Art, Design and Media undergraduate was a member of young & W!LD, an actor training programme by Wild Rice. His acting credits include Mama Looking for Her Cat and the China tour production of play.play with The Theatre Practice, 4.48 Psychosis with Buds Youth Theatre, Mat CD with Teater Ekamatra and most recently Own Time Own Target with W!LD RICE. His work for W!LD RICE in On North Diversion Road, Madforest and the Hypochondriac have also won and been nominated for the Life! Theatre Awards Best Ensemble titles respectively. He is currently pursuing a degree in Digital Filmmaking, and has written and directed a number of independent short films

Candice de Rozario is Miss P, a friendly penanggal who’s just looking for some body. Preferably her own.candice

A classically trained mezzo soprano who used to front a death metal band, Candice was most recently seen as Margaret in Singapore Repertory Theatre’s Shakespeare in the Park: Much Ado about Nothing. Earlier this year, she turned director for I Theatre’s Little Green Frog in collaboration with the Esplanade, and is bringing it back by popular demand this September to the Drama Centre Black Box. Notable acting credits include The Finger Players’ Furthest North, Deepest South (Best Ensemble and Best Production, Life! Awards 2005) young & W!LD’s Mad Forest (Best Ensemble, Life! Awards 2008), W!LD RICE’s The Last Temptation of Stamford Raffles, SRT’s Forbidden City, Action Theatre’s Mama’s Wedding, and numerous productions under I Theatre. On television, she has appeared on Living with Lydia, Mr. Kiasu, Full Circle, Life!, and Double Chin. She earns her keep doing school touring shows, voice-overs and puppet building, and as a part-time wellness and nutrition coach. Her next project will be I Theatre’s Duck ‘n’ Dive, playing at the Drama Centre from 29th Oct to 21st Nov 2009.

Jo Tan is Cik Pon, a pontianak with an unusual problem many would envy.Jo2

The star of Ho Tzu Nyen’s movie Here, which premiered in the Cannes film festival 2009 as a contestant for the Camera D’or award, Jo is also a lead character in Toy Factory/Mediacorp’s controversial Peranakan Ball. Since leaving law over three years ago, her acting credits also include lead roles in W!ld Rice’s The Last Temptation of Sir Stamford Raffles, and i-theatre’s The Wizard of Oz. She has been nominated for the Life! Theatre Awards for her role as Tiny Tim in SRT’s Scrooge. While the stage is her first love, she’s regularly seen on screen in commercials (Reader’s Digest, Downtown East, Live the Dream etc) and as a recurring character on Mediacorp serials, including Channel 8’s The Ultimatum and Nanny Daddy, Channel 5’s Fighting Spiders and Maggie & Me and Kids Central’s Mandy’s Mighty Adventures 1 & 2 where she’s predominantly pregnant. Jo also sings for events round the town and has had weekly stints in cafes such as Milk & Honey and Wala Wala.
